Our new patient examination is where you and your family’s road to creating optimal health begins.  This comprehensive assessment of your overall health includes computerized testing of your nervous system, posture analysis, full spine x-rays, muscle testing, pelvic stabilization tests, computerized range of motion testing and many other objective measures of your health.  This exam is for anyone who has never been a patient at Discover Chiropractic.

The chiropractic adjustment is very highly precise impulse applied to a specific vertebra in order to reduce and remove nerve interference.  Most patients describe the adjustment as a release of tension and it feels great!  This is the first step in one’s path to re-creating optimal health.

In order to track your progress objectively, we will do a re-examination of all the original tests that we did during your new patient examination every twelve adjustments or three months - whichever comes first.  We will take the time to go over these findings with you personally, make any necessary changes to your adjusting schedule and make further recommendations to help you keep moving toward optimal health.

X-Rays are usually taken during the new patient examination, however they may be taken after a patient has been under regular care in order to re-assess spinal changes or after a trauma to verify that there are no emergent problems that need to be addressed.
